Bader Dashtti’s s2000

Bader Dashtti's Honda s2000 was a project that we completed in October of 2013.  The build started from a stripped 2001 s2000 shell that we had acquired several years prior and within 3.5 months a turn-key drag car was born. Over those 3.5 months, owner & tuner at Evans Tuning, Jeff Evans, hand fabricated the NHRA-certified 10-point 8.5 chromoly roll cage, turbo system, under pan/splitters, detachable parachute, fuel cell, battery tray and many other miscellaneous items.  Jeff assembled the fuel system, suspension and wired the entire car to work with a Motec M800. The engine program was also handled in house by Jeff with Inline Pro doing the machine work.  The goal of the project was to have a stock appearing s2000 that still utilized the factory IRS suspension design and could go 7's in the 1/4 mile. Since the build was completed in 2013, the car has only been raced a handful of times as the owner, Bader, travels from Kuwait to the United States to drive the car in competition and testing. Bader has successfully piloted the car to a best of 8.24 @ 170 mph at the World Cup Finals race in Maryland in November 2016. Still retaining the 2.0 liter F20c engine with a Precision 7285 gen 2 turbocharger, we were able to produce 1180 whp at 62 psi of boost on VP C85 fuel!
