It's apparent to Evans Tuning that most AWD tuning shops charge an hourly rate of $150-$300/hr. While this has become somewhat of a "standard", this is not how Evans Tuning bases their tuning rates. We feel that a flat fee rate is the best approach. Our customers do not feel pressured to have their car "rushed" during the tuning session to save money, and we are able to put as much time as needed into tuning. Typical tuning sessions last 3-4 hours, and we do a combination of dyno AND street tuning to ensure your car runs great in actual real world conditions. We do this to ensure the that you get the most reliable tune, as well as best fuel efficiency and overall a car that runs great. Furthermore, we ONLY schedule 1 new tuning appointment a day, so your car will be the ONLY car we focus on that particular day. After the tuning session we offer additional support through datalogs if problems arise for no additional charge. Our level of customer service and quality of tuning is something that we take pride in offering our customers. When comparing prices to other tuning shops, please keep this mind.

The retune fee is only applies if you have been tuned by Evans Tuning previously and are still using the same system. For example, if you are tuned using Hondata and want to come back and get retuned using AEM, it will be the full tuning fee for AEM.
The race gas tuning rate ONLY applies assuming you are getting a pump and race gas tune. If you are only getting a race gas tune, the standard tuning rate applies. This rate does not include race gas. Evans Tuning does not stock race fuel, so customers will need to bring it for their tuning session. Inform us at the time you schedule an appointment if you plan to get a race gas tune. If you want a pump and race gas tune on the same day, you MUST to notify us at the time you schedule the appointment.
This consists of 5-10 miles of variable loading on the dyno while under partial throttle and boost conditions to seat the rings while keeping air/fuel ratios at an optimal level. Several compression and leak down tests are preformed during the course of the break-in to ensure that the rings are seating properly.
All prices do not include PA sales tax (6%). Tuning prices include dyno time, street tuning time, and cam gear adjustments for pump gas tunes only. Please be advised that the tuning fee does not include the cost of labor if something needs to be fixed on your car. See our labor rates for pricing.
1. To be eligible for the retune rate the same COBB system and car must have been previously tuned by Evans Tuning.
2. Race gas rate applies when getting both pump and race gas tuning at the same appointment.
