This car is a purpose built for drag racing, specifically for NHRA Street Stock and Nopi Comp4 racing classes. The engine was tuned on E85 fuel, producing 303whp at 8,500rpms! This was enough power to propel the TGR civic to 11.5 @ 120mph on 225/50/15 BFG drag radial tires, and 10.9 @ 125mph on M/T drag slicks! With already astounding performance from this Civic, owner Tim Grey is looking for more power and lower e.t.s next season with some changes being made in the off season.
