At Evans Tuning we understand the need for having your engine built right, the first time. Clearances for performance engines are critical, and can make or break your engine build.  Based on our years of four-cylinder import engine building experience we know what works and what doesn’t. Quality, not quantity is our main priority that goes into each engine build. We offer top quality parts, at competitive prices with reasonable turn around times. Each engine package includes OEM Honda engine bearings because we feel that a one size fits all bearing that other companies offer in their engine builds is just not proper building technique. Other quality components used are OEM Honda water pumps, oil pumps, timing belt tensioners, seals, Manley connecting rods, and Wiseco or CP pistons depending on which “stage” engine package is chosen.

The stage 1 build is something we have put together for customers who are looking for an economical solution for up to 500 whp. Although this build is able to support more power, we rate it at a conservative 500whp for long term reliability. The stage 1 build uses quality components from Wiseco and Manley, along with OEM Honda sleeves and parts to give the best bang for the buck for a street car. Click here for more details.

The stage 2 build is targeted at the weekend drag racer, that wants low 10/high 9 second time slips and does not want to break the bank. This stage 2 build is rated at 700whp, and offers AEBS sleeving with Manley and CP internals along with all OEM Honda parts. This is the best bang for the buck weekend racer/street car build. The stage 3 build is targeted at those looking to competitively drag race in sportsman classes, or looking for under 1000whp. The stage 3 build is rated up to 1000whp, and offers top notch components from Manley, CP Pistons, AEBS sleeved and O-ringed block, and OEM Honda parts. While this combination of parts is drag race oriented, it can be built so that the engine can be daily driven for those that want the very best parts in their street cars.
