This is the first Rotrex equipped 06-11 Civic Si that we’ve tuned. Very impressive power delivery, and extremely quiet in comparison to the roots blower kits.
Upgraded fuel lines, fuel rail and external regulator
Engine Management:
Haltech Sport 2000 box w/terminated harness
M&W pro 16 CDI Ignition
Racepak Digital Display Dash (can bus’d to Sport 2000 EMS)

This Supra is one of the coolest sounding “street” cars I have been around. It idles like a cam’d up big block V8 at idle, but has that sweet distinctive 2JZ sound while running. This set-up made very good power considering it’s still fairly basic. Custom intake manifold, larger throttle body, larger intercooler and charge pipes and race gas tune are in the future. Should be able to see around 1000-1100whp at 40-45 psi! This is a solid high 8 second 1/4 mile car when completed down the road, but will still be able to drive on the street.

This particular car was from some of our original videos (silver Acura Integra). Years later it came back for a refresh switching from NepTune to Hondata S300, ditching the AVCR boost controller for the boost by gear feature and installing a set of Injector Dynamics 1000cc Injectors to replace the low impedance 1000cc’s Precision Injectors that ran terrible. There is a night and day difference in drivability and overall power delivery/traction on the street!

Great power from another bone stock K20z3 engine! This particular owner decided to do a return style fuel system, which allowed me to push a bit more power out of the set-up compared to other turbo Si’s that we have tuned. IDC was at 80% at the 500whp power pull. The midrange torque could be a bit better if Hondata boost control was used (AEM Tru boost was used).

Great power from another bone stock F20c engine! Boost was tapering from 13 psi to 11 psi at redline, so peak power was down about 30 whp from where it could have been at. Overall a basic set-up, but very solid results on stock block and 93 octane.

This car was tuned using 15 psi on 93 Octane.

The owner had previously used a TSI turbo kit on the car with terrible results. Upgraded the manifold, downpipe, turbo and wastegate and picked up another 200whp+! More power could be made with return style fuel system, IDC was at 97% at this power level.

Overall Impression:
An E85 conversion was done to this customer’s car, which netted about a 100whp increase in power safely at 5psi more boost! The AEM EMS Series 2 box was set-up using speed based boost control, which makes this car hook all of the power in the lower gears.

This particular set-up is somewhat unique in that its a full Greddy Turbo Kit, but with a Garrett GT3071R T25 frame turbo installed in place of the Greddy turbo. The dynograph displays the difference in power and torque between the car using the Greddy turbo with the stock exhaust at 10 psi (red lines) and Garrett GT3071R and Full Race 3″ exhaust installed (yellow) at 11-12 psi. A particularly interesting observation is that there is no loss in spool with the much larger GT3071R turbo installed. Tuning was stopped at this boost level due to fuel system at 95% injector duty cycle.

This car was tuned using 93 Octane @ 9.5 dropped to 6 psi of boost.

Overall Impression:
Great powerband for a daily driver! Substantial low/midrange passing power. If 3″ exhaust and ET boost solenoid was used boost could have been held better to redline, and another 15-20 whp of top end power could have been achieved.

Great power from the 2011 STI with intake, turboback exhaust and custom Pro flash. Bottom end and midrange on this car are extremely responsive for a daily driver status.
