This is the first Rotrex equipped 06-11 Civic Si that we’ve tuned. Very impressive power delivery, and extremely quiet in comparison to the roots blower kits.

Basic set-up with great results. With the proper fuel system, EMS and tune there is no reason not to run 10-12 psi pulley on a stock F20c/F22c block!

This particular set-up is somewhat unique in that its a full Greddy Turbo Kit, but with a Garrett GT3071R T25 frame turbo installed in place of the Greddy turbo. The dynograph displays the difference in power and torque between the car using the Greddy turbo with the stock exhaust at 10 psi (red lines) and Garrett GT3071R and Full Race 3″ exhaust installed (yellow) at 11-12 psi. A particularly interesting observation is that there is no loss in spool with the much larger GT3071R turbo installed. Tuning was stopped at this boost level due to fuel system at 95% injector duty cycle.
The Tuning Rundown
This car was tuned using 93 Octane @ 9.5 dropped to 6 psi of boost.

Great powerband for a daily driver! Substantial low/midrange passing power. If 3″ exhaust and ET boost solenoid was used boost could have been held better to redline, and another 15-20 whp of top end power could have been achieved.
Additional Notes:
This vehicle was used to test our eDyno. Below is the layover comparison graph that has been cropped to closely match the same scaling used on the dyno.

Dotted lines are baseline pull with COBB OTS map specifically for these modifications. Prior to tuning the car was very choppy and felt sluggish. The solid lines are after an ET Pro tune. 60 ft-lbs torque midrange gains and 40-50 hp top end gains are significant enough for the owner to feel a substantial difference from the OTS map. The custom pro tune was able to generate these power numbers both safe and knock free.

Car came in with cracked ring lands on all the pistons from an improper tune with a VAFC. ET Stage 1 block and cylinder head package were preformed, installed and tuned.

This car was tuned using 93 Octane @ 11psi of boost.

The intercooler makes all the difference in this set-up. Air temps were only 10-20 degrees above ambient temp even after multiple runs on the dyno.
